Superbly engineered and executed. Really quieted down the interior of my JLU and they give it a more premium look and feel inside. Jeep should use these as an option rather than the ****** Mopar ones! Far superior build quality.

With my previous Jeep JK I had installed the Mopar headliner and thought it looked nice and seemed to work well. For my JL I did more research and decided to try the complete black Hothead set including the rear side window panels and Sound Assassin kit. When everything arrived I realized the Hothead Headliners are much more substantial and well thought out than the Mopar ones I had used on my previous Jeep. Being that it is winter, I took my time and performed the installation in stages. I started with the Freedom panels, bringing them inside the warm house and installed the sound assassin strips and headliner panels. I didn't get to the rest of the install for a few days and after a day of driving and parking outside in the snow I returned to my garage and that's when I noticed just how effective and insulating the Hothead headliners really are. See the attached photos showing the roof of my JL with snow melting in the areas of the hardtop where I hadn't yet installed the headliner but the snow is still frozen where the freedom panel headliners were installed. Very impressive! In the next stage I installed the remainder of the Sound Assassin strips. Remember not to block the satellite antenna (see the instructions). For the final stage, the rest of the headliner, I followed the cold weather installation instructions to the letter with one addition: while sanding I held the nozzle of my vacuum next to the sandpaper to **** up most of the sanding dust, limiting how many white dust clumps fell down onto the black interior. The results have been impressive, well worth it! The stereo sounds great, less wind and road noise, the insulation benefits are there (see photos!) and I like the appearance as well. This will be my first upgrade in any future Jeeps!

I bought the headliners, side panels, and sound assassin strips for my Gladiator. Installation was easier than I thought and took me about 90 minutes including roof removal. You don’t need to remove the roof but I thought it was better to do it that way. This will not make your Jeep as quiet as a Lexus but then I did not think that it would. But it really cuts down the outside noise, especially the wind making for a much better sound experience from the radio. Also, kudos to Mark as I threw him a curve ball when I changed my shipping address at the last minute. He was was great about it and my product arrived on time. Overall, I am happy with the product and would recommend it.
